Singer Juelz, whose real name is Shahriar Chowdbury, is scheduled to perform at an Asian cuisine festival to be held in Chatsworth on January 30.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Juelz said he was excited by the upcoming event and had put a lot of work into the Indian culinary tradition.

“I’ve just got back from my home country of Bangladesh, which has a new a prime minister, and that means I need to do a lot to promote our home country in South Africa.

“DJ Sbu is the one who gave me a chance and extended this invitation to me to perform at the Asian cuisine festival. He told me that I needed to do me, and this extended my potential in the music industry,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to performing at the Asian cuisine festival, as I have a collaboration with Sjava and Mgiftana on my latest EP, which is set to drop during the Easter weekend.”
