DJ Gift "Mgiftana" Bembe is celebrating his birthday in style with a tour featuring some of the biggest names in the industry, including DJ Fresh, Vinny Da Vinci, Oskido and Kabza De Small, among others.
The tour kicked off on January 4 in Daveyton and has already made stops in Midrand on January 12 and eMalahleni (Witbank) on Saturday. On Sunday Mgiftana returned to his hometime, Daveyton, for another performance with the stars.
The main event is set to take place on Saturday January 25, when seasoned musicians Thebe, Mdu Masilela and Mzambiya will perform live at Hurricane Lifestyle in Katlehong, south of Joburg. Tickets are priced at R100 for general admission and R200 for VIP access.

Mgiftana’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Two decades ago he made history as the youngest DJ to secure a slot on YFM, under the mentorship of industry legend DJ Oskido. Despite facing challenges, including being born with a minor physical disability, he has never allowed adversity to define him.
In 2000 he was involved in a car accident, suffering head injuries that affected his speech, as well as damage to his left leg, which made walking difficult.
