Gospel legend Sipho Makhabane is preparing for his Show Your Love concert.
The artist, also known as Big Fish, with more than 30 albums, is taking on the role of Cupid at the show in celebration of the month of love. The concert will take place on February 15 at Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mafikeng, North West.
The concert features other artists including Thinah Zungu, SbuNoah, Worship House, Ndumiso Zungu, 2lly Shakes and many more.
According to Big Fish, the event aims to promote the idea of “love your neighbour” by encouraging everyone to show acts of kindness and love to one another as love is the ultimate pillar of faith.
“According to the Bible, ‘God is love’ (1 John 4:8), and this event aims to spread that love to our communities through music and heartfelt messages,” he said.
He urged the public not to miss out on the praise- and worship-filled celebration of love.
“Love is the foundation on which our faith is built. The gospel concert is a reminder that love is not only an emotion but a call to action. Let us all come together on this special day to show love, kindness and compassion towards each other. Remember, as St John wrote: ‘God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so we might have eternal life through Him’ (John 3:16)."
