The search for SA's next gospel sensation has reached new heights as Gospel Superstars SA announces its esteemed judging panel.
The trio of industry icons are queen of gospel Rebecca Malope, award-winning artist Khaya Mthethwa and renowned music executive Nkateko Maluleke.
Sipho Alphi Mkhwanazi will be the dynamic host of the show.
After a phenomenal audition tour across Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, the judges are set to mentor and guide the nation's brightest gospel voices.
“I’m looking for artists who sing from the soul — who don’t just perform gospel music but live it,” said Rebecca.
“Gospel Superstars is about more than just talent — it’s about heart, conviction and using music to uplift others,” added Khaya.
Music executive and industry leader Nkateko Maluleke, who is MD of Gallo Music and a legal expert, said his passion was in artist development and he would play a vital role in contributing towards that.
“This competition is more than a platform; it’s a life-changing opportunity for gospel artists to make their mark. I’m excited to witness the raw talent and authenticity that South Africa has to offer.”
Contestants will battle for the life-changing grand prize of R1m and a recording deal with Gallo Music.
