In a surprise twist, reality TV star Khanyi Mbau has announced she is getting back together with her ex-boyfriend Kudzai Mushonga weeks after revealing they had broken up.
The couple's on and off-again relationship has been a talking point on social media from the moment they went public, from their lavish lifestyle in Dubai to romantic gestures and dramatic break-ups.
Taking to her Instagram timeline on Monday, Khanyi revealed she had taken the decision to reconcile with her beau.
“He called, demanded I address the bad things he did. He asked to attend the funeral that made me mourn. I cried, he listened. I am in the car he sent, headed back to him,” she wrote.
“Don’t ask. He didn’t entertain my rubbish. We are adults (listen don’t judge). Besides, where would I go with a thigh laminated in bold with his name.”
In another post, Khanyi shared a picture of her packed boxes with the caption: “We pack to unpack.”
“It's going to take me two weeks to unpack this. Anger makes you strong for nothing.”
Attempts to get comment from Khanyi were unsuccessful at the time of publishing.
