The telenovela, to air from Monday, April 21 at 7.30pm, features seasoned actors such as Baby Cele, Buyile Mdladla, Nay Maps, Gaosi Raditholo, Kealeboga Masango and KB Motsilanyane.

Felicia Thabethe (played by Baby Cele), once the queen of gospel, thought she had built an unshakeable legacy with her husband Gabriel played by Buyile Madladla), but when shocking secrets surface everything she has worked for is thrown into chaos. Now, with Genesis Records at risk, Felicia must fight to protect her family's name before it crumbles.
“Mzansi viewers must gear up for an emotional rollercoaster of a ride because that’s what’s in store when Genesis premieres. It’s about family, power struggles, love, faith — set in the powerful and highly contested gospel music industry, which is relatable to Mzansi,” director of local entertainment channels for M-Net Shirley Adonisi said.
