The surviving member of house duo Infinite Boys, Antonio Mabaso, has made a comeback.

Antonio has been off the radar since the death of his brother Raphael Mabaso in 2021.

After their debut album The Beginning, was released in 2010, the Infinite Boys, who were signed to Kalawa Jazmee, became popular for their production skills

Now, with the release of his EP Mwanga, Antonio says he wants to pay homage to his late brother through music.

"I'm based in Mozambique, trying to heal from the passing of my brother but also working on music with musicians from Maputo," he said.

"Mwanga is a series of mixes, curated by Infinite Boys. Mwanga is a Swahili word meaning 'the light'. We are about to embark on a journey of enlightenment and self-discovery through music that is meant to heal, uplift and inspire.

"I have been on a rocky journey and am making an effort to give Infinite Boys fans our latest sound. I've been working with artists from different genres in Mozambique, and the name of the group won't vanish.

"I had to heal first to be able to work. Sometimes it's not easy.  Sometimes I wish Raphael was around."
