Lerato Kganyago has opened up about her recent breast reduction surgery.
In a candid post, the media personality revealed she underwent the surgery to alleviate back and neck pain caused by her large breasts, encouraging others who had similar ailments to consider surgery.
"My breast reduction procedure was seamless and less painful than I expected. It lasted about two hours, focusing on reducing breast size without adding implants as the goal was to decrease weight rather than increase it," she said.
"On waking. I felt mild discomfort rather than pain. I had two surgical drains for fluid removal, which were initially uncomfortable but improved significantly after their removal on the third day. I still have dressings. I found the procedure straightforward and quick to heal with proper precautions.
"If you suffer from back or neck pain due to large breasts, I encourage you to seek more information about similar procedures."
Lerato got back to work on Monday, saying she was feeling no pain or discomfort.
Taking to her social media stories, she said she felt weight had been lifted from her.
“Feeling so good. My back is the happiest right now. Honestly this was a pleasant experience,” she wrote.
“I did it for my girls with back problems. I'm so happy. I want to cry. I felt the immediate relief off my back. I feel free.”
