“Rings and Bearings is for everyone and their challenges in society, especially the social ills we experience. The podcast is educational and interacting with the masses on serious issues,” he said.
Last month TshisaLIVE caught up with Skeem GP during a podcast recording at Arena Holdings in Parktown, Johannesburg, where he provided insight about his plans.
“I did crime and did my time. Before my imprisonment I prepared my mind for what I was going to face behind bars. The prison soccer team I was sponsoring, I had to join the prisoners who saw me as their role [model] as I'd often visited the prison during its soccer tournament,” he said.
“Prison life moulded me into the person I am today.”
Skeem GP launches his second podcast channel — 'Rings and Bearings'

Reality TV presenter Themba “Skeem GP” Lukhele is launching his second podcast.
Skeem GP is an ex-convict and author. He is known for his Against The Wall podcast where he interviews ex-offenders about their experiences in prison. His second podcast is to be called Rings and Bearings, where he will take a look at issues such as sex-trafficking, child-headed families, drugs and crime.
Rings and Bearings will be launched on March 1 at Emperors Palace, Ekurhuleni, and will air its first episode on March 5.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Skeem GP said it was necessary to expand his podcast channels to interact on issues South African's are facing.
