Two crew members hospitalised after fire on ‘Skeem Saam’ set
Two crew members have been injured and hospitalised after a fire broke out on the set of the SABC 1 drama Skeem Saam at Sasani Studios on Monday.
“Our thoughts are with the injured crew members, and we wish them a speedy recovery. The fire caused some damage to the set and equipment. The full extent is being assessed,” said head of communications Mmoni Ngubane
DJ Supta is leaving YFM
DJ Supta announced he's leaving YFM after 11 years at the station.
The broadcaster and DJ who joined the station in 2013 said his final show will be in March.
“YFM holds a special place in my heart. It has shaped my radio career and helped me become the person I am today. I extend my deepest gratitude to Tumelo for offering me this incredible opportunity and to MD Haseena for her unwavering belief in me and her constant support throughout my journey,” he said.
Inno Morolong serves Paul Mtirara with counter protection order
Seasoned broadcaster Paul Mtirara says he is relying on the justice system to vindicate his name after reality TV star Inno Morolong, accompanied by policemen, served him with a counter protection order during his show at the Metro FM studios.
