Proverb marks a milestone in the industry

Radio presenter ProVerb is celebrating 20 years since the release of his debut album The Book of ProVerb.

“From the booth to the boardroom, from rhymes to radio, from verses to voice-overs, and from beats to broadcasting, hip-hop gave me my first home and that foundation built an entire career. I am eternally grateful to every listener, every supporter and every mentor who believed in my craft,” he told TshisaLIVE.

Lunga Shabalala gets baptised

After a surge of celebrities becoming sangomas, the entertainment industry is seeing many publicly giving their lives to Christ as they share their spiritual journeys.

Actor Lunga Shabalala is the latest celebrity to make his public declaration, sharing images of his baptism.

Cassper Nyovest set to host a Fill Up

Rapper Cassper Nyovest is gearing up to host his iconic Fill Up concert again, despite recent criticism about his new viral single Kusho Bani.

In a recent episode of Podcast and Chill, Mac G made scathing comments about Cassper, calling him “washed” and suggesting he should “leave the mic before the mic leaves him”.

Cassper wants to prove his relevance with another Fill Up concert.

Somizi didn't fulfil his MC obligations after bad treatment

Eastern Cape businessman Man B threatened to slap Somizi Mhlongo for allegedly failing to fulfil his obligations as an MC at his birthday celebration.

“I can't keep quiet because they will continue taking chances with us. When you hire someone with your money and put them on the poster, some of their followers buy tickets to support the person they see on the posters.”
