Internationally acclaimed jazz artist Paras Sibalukhulu Dlamini is set to release his highly anticipated single Indimbane Yezizwe on Friday, leading up to the release of his debut album in April. This powerful track is poised to make waves on the global jazz scene and advocate for unity and self-empowerment across the African continent.

Indimbane Yezizwe is a heartfelt plea to Africans everywhere to stand up and speak out for their heritage and land, the artist said. The song delves deeply into the invasion of Africa's precious lands, calling for the preservation of culture and the reclaiming of what belongs to the people. It encourages Africans to raise their voices — not in violence or riot — but with pride, clarity and strength.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Paras says that, lyrically, the song serves as a message of hope, urging listeners not to lose faith in the face of adversity.

“It acknowledges that change is essential and that, through collective effort, the future can be brighter. Indimbane Yezizwe carries a simple yet powerful call to action: Speak up! Speak clearly, Africans”, he said.

The stirring anthem is composed by Nduduzo Makhathini and penned by Dlamini, who is known for his unique blend of traditional African jazz influences and contemporary sounds.

Indimbane Yezizwe is a statement. It’s a call for Africans to unite, to celebrate their culture, and to push for the positive change that is needed in today’s world. The song will resonate with anyone who believes in the power of the people and the importance of standing strong in the face of challenges,” he added.
