Podcaster Sol Phenduka stunned social media users with his African outfit when he attended a friend's wedding in Ga-Mashashane, Polokwane, at the weekend.

A post has gone viral with the Diqabang hitmake's image, with the caption: “Sol Phenduka looking like those uncles from old Nigerian movies.”

The post rubbed some of Sol's followers up the wrong way.

One user said: “If you don't have anything positive to post about Sol Phenduka, refrain from using social media.”

Another said: “Congratulations Solomzi, uphi umakoti omeshe naye lelo shirt, simbone [where is the new bride with the same shirt? Let's see her].”

A third said: “Sol is living a stress-free life. He needs to embrace and honour that wedding. He's the best.”

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Sol said: “It's nothing hectic — I attended my friend's wedding and the dress code, it's about African print. And the ceremony went well. I love what I was wearing on that day.”
