DJ Kmat will be one of the headlining DJs at the prestigious International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza as one of the first global pass recipients.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, DJ Kmat, whose real name is Koketso Reabetswe Mathabathe and who is from Soshanguve, said the event is designed to celebrate cultural mastery and artistic innovation, providing meaningful access and global recognition for home-grown talent.
“I’m so excited to be going to Ibiza. I feel so honoured to be performing at this prestigious event. This platform has opened so many doors for other artists before me, I hope it does the same for me,” the DJ and music producer said.
DJ Kmat released her debut EP Luminous Flame, featuring amapiano superstars, in 2022.
