Gqom artist Sizwe Mdlalose goes back to fashion, reviving his clothing line

Afrotainment singer Sizwe Mdlalose has returned to the fashion business.

Sizwe is known for his EPs Konke and Ifikelephi. He recently relaunched his clothing brand Mandeluz Fashion. The line consists of hoodies, T-shirts, dresses and suits, among other items.

According to Sizwe, he has been in the fashion industry for more than a decade and his work has been shared by celebrities such as Babes Wodumo, the late Mampintsha and Khanyi Mbau.

“Fashion paved the way for me into music, which resulted in me being focused on music rather than fashion. Now, I'm back into fashion because I'm passionate about it and Mandeluz Fashion. It's either you buy the outfit or you rent it out for weddings, matric dances, shooting music videos — we can assist.

“I should let people know what Sizwe does — I am a fashion designer, I am an artist and I am an MC. I'm still going to record music. You know the saying that fashion meets music or vice versa, there must be balance.”
