Rising star Nontokozo Mkhize will soon share a stage with music heavyweights.
The Heavyweights Live Concert is a music experience taking place on June 14 at the Carnival City Big Top Arena.
The concert will feature a top-class line-up of artists including Sjava, Big Zulu, The Soil and Nontokozo.
Nontokozo is a multi award-winning gospel singer known for breaking a record by surpassing Adele’s chart-topper single Easy On Me on Spotify charts with her single Esandleni.
She said: “Under the powerful theme Heavy and Bigger, I promise an unforgettable night of storytelling, soul and celebration through my live performance.”
Event organiser Richard Ramudzuli said the Heavyweights Live Concert aims to celebrate the purity of live performance, offering audiences full band set-ups.
“The Heavyweights Live Concert is more than entertainment, it’s a movement. Our vision with Heavy and Bigger is to bring back the essence of live music, where every instrument, every lyric and every performance tells a real story. We’ve curated some of the finest talents to deliver a night that will celebrate culture, emotion and true musicianship. We invite all music lovers to come and experience the magic of live storytelling through music”, said Richard.
