Black Brain Pictures' Mandla N confirmed his departure from the show this month. He said Sipho has been a great asset.

“He’s played a huge role in shaping the series. With season three upon us, we knew we had to do something big, something that would shift the narrative in a powerful way. That meant making a bold move with our main character, Chuma. Losing his best friend will take him to the next level emotionally,” he said.

The show is welcoming Mondli Makhoba.

Black Brain Pictures publicist Nyiko Bilankulu confirmed Mondli is joining the show. Nyiko said Mondli can't wait to explore his character as he has never played a military commander before.

“We’re excited about the fresh energy he’ll bring. We believe this will ignite something special in the new season. We’re thrilled to continue doing what we love most: delivering high-quality content to our audience,” he said.
