The Metro FM Music Awards (MMA) 2025 lit up Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga under the theme "Crowing Greatness" on Saturday with a stylish celebration of South Africa's top music stars.
Siyabonga Ngwekazi and Luthando Shosha brought energy as hosts of the show.
The 2025 MMAs honoured music stars, with Woodblock DJs taking Song of the Year for their hit song Skuta Baba, Bassie’s Kwelanga winning big in three categories, namely Best Music Video, Best Amapiano Song and Best Collaboration, and Limpopo’s Makhadzi took home the top title of Artist of the Year.

Kwaito icons TKZee and gospel legend Dr Rebecca Malope were honoured with Lifetime Achievement Awards for their lasting impact on local music.
