In celebration of Mothers Day, some celebrities took to social media to share their journeys in motherhood and the special women in their lives, from Mother's Day spoils to sharing pictures of their bundles of joy.
Here are a few celeb moms who flooded socials on Mother's Day:
“I haven’t been too vocal about my journey as a stepmother/bonus mom and how I woke up one day being partly responsible for a two-year-old. Yeah, I met my son when he had just turned two, imagine, and my life was flipped upside down in the best way,” Palesa Tembe wrote.
“When motherhood chose me, I had to embrace it wholeheartedly, with zero reservations. I’ve loved that little man from the moment I met him and have loved him freely since. Being able to pour love into a little impressionable human, speak life into him, help introduce him to faith and the works of God brings me so much joy and fulfilment,” Minnie Dlamini wrote.
Regarding her mother, she wrote: “To be raised by this woman is my greatest gift. I’ve always watched in awe, how she would make miracles happen right before my eyes. No stone unturned for her cubs and prayers that my son will inherit and also win from. She’s taught me be to be kind and empathetic but also to be brave and not take sh*t, even if it means people will talk. My fighter, my protector, my prayer warrior, my everything.”
“My biggest blessing is being called 'mom'. How fast they grow,” Palesa Madisakwane wrote.
