Shebeshxt has opened up about his grief after the death of his daughter.

On June 8 2024, the controversial rapper was involved in a crash on his way to a gig which left him seriously injured, his partner Kholofelo Moloto with moderate to serious injuries and claimed the life of their nine-year-old daughter.

While he has since been back at work, Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Chauke, said the death left him devastated to a point of no recovery.

Recently explaining the meaning behind his tattoo, Shebeshxt said after his daughter's death, he covered his previous tattoo that read 'hustle hard' to say 'heartbroken'.

“My heart is broken. If I focus on just being heartbroken, I will go hungry. Sometimes you just have to be strong, but losing someone you brought onto this earth, someone you were living for? You can never recover because every day as you live, every second, the pain does not go down. When you eat, because this is someone you ate with and they are no longer there ... in such situations, you just have to give it to God,” he said during his sit-down on E4 Podcast.

On social media, Shebeshxt has candidly spoken about his grief.

“The pain of losing my daughter neh? mxm. I try to be strong but every night I go to bed crying. I live with this pain all my life,” he wrote.

“She might not be with me physically, but I know O Nale Nna (she is with me) spiritually ...Ke (she is) my angel. Onthatile my daughter, my life,” he wrote in another post.
