The streets of Tshwane are set to come alive as the 702 Walk the Talk makes its comeback on Sunday July 27.
This year it’s not just about the walk; it’s a celebration of 702’s 45-year journey of amplifying voices, connecting communities, and sparking meaningful conversations.
Backed by Freedom Park in collaboration with the City of Tshwane, this year’s walk promises more than just steps; it promises purpose. Starting at the historic Freedom Park and finishing at the newly revamped Southern Lawns of the Union Buildings, the event is a tribute to its collective history and shared future.
Mzo Jojwana, chief content officer at Primedia Broadcasting, said: “As we celebrate 45 years of 702, the Walk the Talk embodies our commitment to community and connection. Together, we walk not just for ourselves, but for the legacy of those who fought for our freedom and the future we are building together.”
