Congratulations are in order for Skeem Saam actress Amanada Manku and her husband Roger Tau after they revealed in a joint Instagram post they were expecting their second child together.
Amanda, who had refrained from posting for weeks on social media, took to her timeline on Monday finally revealing her baby bump when announcing the news to her followers.
The actress also reflected on the tragedy of losing the matriarch of her family after her mother and grandmother were shot dead at Makgophong village, Zebediela, on May 4 2021.
“An answered prayer. An addition to my family. Most people know of the heartbreaking tragedy that happened in my life, the past years being a blur at times kodwa at the end of it all, God showed me grace.
“Kumnyama kodwa wathi “Ngikhona mtanam, lisakhanya, worry not” Ka nnete re tla hlula tšohle ka Morena. To a new chapter, tshemologo ya bophelo bo boncha,” read the caption.
There's baby fever in celebville. Actress Sive Mabuya-Bukani and her hubby Aphiwe are also expecting their first child together.
Taking to her Instagram timeline recently Sive showed her baby bump when announcing the news to their fans.
“Bump’s out the bag. Thank you for your kindness. We couldn’t be happier,” she captioned the post.
Sive's fans spotted her baby bump at the premiere of Shaka iLembe season 2.
Her co-star Hope Mbhele was among the celebrities who were excited to finally have the news shared publicly. “The way I wanted to jump when I saw you at the premiere, but I was like let me wait until she announces. So happy for you my love. Congratulations mama,” she said.
