Comedian Justice Kubheka has confirmed that his decade-long marriage to wife Zama Kubheka has ended.
A source close to the Pietermaritzburg-born entertainer told TshisaLIVE that Justice shared the news with close friends, expressing deep sadness over the separation. What makes the break-up even more painful, according to insiders, is that the comedian underwent a vasectomy during the marriage, believing he and Zama were in it for life.
“We asked him why he didn’t come to us first before he went for a vasectomy,” a source said. “We can’t predict the future, anything can happen. Now he’s going through the most and it’s sad.”
Another close friend alleged that tensions in the marriage had been brewing for some time.
“He told us that ‘Umfazi akasamfuni ngoba uyabheda’ — meaning the wife no longer wants to be with him because he’s a mess,” said the source.
Justice, who has kept a relatively low profile about his personal life until now, took to social media to break his silence and set the record straight.

“Yes, I am getting divorced. Was faithful for 10 years, never cheated. Even when our marriage was challenged, I stayed a full year with no sex. I regret nothing. I gave marriage life my everything. God allowed it to end,” he posted.
Fans of the comedian have expressed their support and sympathy online, many praising his honesty and vulnerability.
Justice, known for his sharp wit and grounded comedy, is yet to reveal what’s next for him personally or professionally. For now, he seems to be focusing on healing from what he describes as a painful but freeing chapter.
When contacted by TshisaLIVE, Justice confirmed he and his wife were headed for divorce, “It's a lie that I have depression, no one gets married to get divorce. There's a lot of things I did in making my marriage better but a vasectomy was my decision since women also can go for prevention,” he said.
