Amapiano heavyweight DJ Jaivane is making headlines again — this time for taking a bold step to settle royalty payments owed to artists who have contributed to his music over the years.

In a post that has since gone viral on social media, the Simnandi Records boss shared a video of himself heading to Pretoria, accompanied by a caption that read: “Off to Pretoria, Ngisayo bhadala Amajita (I'm going to pay the guys) ... R&S.”

His statement was met with applause from fans and industry peers, who praised him for taking accountability and recognising the talent behind his success.

The message struck a chord across the music industry, with fellow artist Leemckrazy from Gipa Entertainment responding, “Kshuthi Iyangena Nase Soweto (That means it'll be transferred in Soweto as well),” hinting that the payments could reach a wider group of collaborators, not just those based in Pretoria.
