Cape Town is about to be the global capital of creativity as Loeries Creative Week 2025 takes over the city from October 5 to 10. Buckle up for a week packed with mind-blowing ideas, boundary-pushing campaigns and the brightest minds in brand communication all under one roof.
In its 47th year, the Loerie Awards continue to honour the best in creativity and brand storytelling across Africa and the Middle East.
Loeries CEO Preetesh Sewraj said: “This year's theme, 'The Great Hunger', embodies the industry's intrinsic desire to create truly iconic work.”
It’s a hunger for more impact, more innovation, and more unforgettable campaigns that challenge the norm and inspire change.
With a record-breaking 2,784 entries from 13 countries, a panel of 194 top tier judges and the addition of four categories — Comedic Impact, New Launch Campaign, Sonic Branding and Marketing Impact — the bar is higher than ever.
Expect a creative explosion at venues across Cape Town, with the Homecoming Centre hosting expos from October 8 to 10, including the student showcase.
Throughout the week, you can tap into masterclasses, networking events and the International Seminar, where global thought leaders unpack the past, present and future of the creative industry.
