Afro-jazz maestro Selaelo Selota has announced the postponement of the Vaal leg of his 25-year anniversary concert tour, which was set to take place on Saturday at Emerald Casino.
The iconic guitarist and vocalist, known for his electrifying performances and deeply rooted African sound, has been celebrating a quarter-century in the South African music industry with a nationwide tour. The journey kicked off with a sold-out show at Emperors Palace on August 23, followed by the One Country Concert at Meropa Outdoor Arena in Polokwane on August 30, which was met with resounding acclaim.
The Emerald Casino performance has been rescheduled to November 22, allowing Selota and his team additional time to enhance the production and ensure fans receive the world-class experience they deserve.
“My 25-year journey in music has been shaped by the love and support of the fans. This milestone deserves to be celebrated in the best way possible, and while it’s never easy to move a date, I believe that on November 22 we will share an unforgettable evening together at Emerald Casino,” said Selota in a heartfelt statement.
All tickets purchased for the original date remain valid for the new performance. Those who are unable to attend the new date can request a full refund via Webtickets.
Organisers have expressed their gratitude to fans and partners for their continued support and patience, promising a musical experience worth the wait when the tour lands in the Vaal in November.
