Dlala Thukzin is gearing up for his three-day weekend festival and third edition of Studio Camp.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Lamontville-born DJ shared details about the upcoming events.
“The Dlala Weekend is something else. We have a full weekend of activities and partying lined up. It kicks off on October 8 with a gala dinner, where we will honour all the KwaZulu-Natal champions of the year 2024/2025, as we always do,” he said.
On October 10 a business exhibition will be held during the day followed by the official pre-party that night at Club Origin. The highlight of the weekend arrives on October 11 with the Dlala Thukzin Dance Festival. The flagship event has attracted more than 10,000 people since its inception two years ago.
To close the weekend, October 12 will feature a laid-back sports day and a family-friendly braai.
When asked about his readiness for the third edition of Studio Camp, Dlala Thukzin emphasised its community spirit: “This is something for everyone, not only Dlala Thukzin but a platform for everyone in KwaZulu-Natal.”
Looking ahead, the star will head to Spain for international shows.
