Amapiano powerhouse Kabza De Small pulled out of a scheduled performance at The Social Club in Hatfield due to fatigue and illness after a jam-packed weekend at the massive Scorpion Kings Live and Friends concert.

The Iphupho hitmaker was set to take to the stage on Wednesday night, but released a statement to fans expressing regret about the cancellation.

“To my beloved fans, It is with deep regret that I must inform you that, due to an unexpected illness, I will be unable to perform tonight at The Social Club, Hatfield. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause to the event organisers, sponsors and, most importantly to you my supporters. Your understanding during this difficult time means the world to me. I am committed to rescheduling or working closely with the promoters to find a suitable alternative once I've made a full recovery. I can't wait to be back on stage and share that moment with all of you soon. With love and gratitude.”

Kabza recently performed at the Scorpion Kings Live and Friends concert at Loftus Stadium in Tshwane alongside his longtime collaborator DJ Maphorisa. The event featured a heavyweight line-up including Nigerian sensation Davido, Caiphus Semenya, Njelic, Msaki, Nkosazana Daughter, Tracy & Thatohatsi, DBN Gogo, and Dlala Thukzin.
