Penny Ntuli has addressed her viral video twerking on the N3 South at Ultra City Estcourt.
The radio presenter recently shot up trends lists after a video of her and a friend dancing, bending over and twerking for oncoming traffic while on the side of the road circulated on social media.
A statement shared with TshisaLIVE from the Road Traffic Management Corporation said the video showed grounds for her to be charged.
“She can be arrested for jaywalking on the freeway. She can also be charged for disturbing the traffic. It is also very risky and can distract drivers who are supposed to concentrate on the road while driving. It must be noted that a high number (up to 40%) of people who are killed on South African roads are pedestrians who walk on the freeways.”
