The Cape Spring Experience 2025 is not only growing into the biggest spring celebration in South Africa but also making history with the announcement that award-winning artist Bravo Le Roux has joined the festival team as a shareholder and partner.

This year marks a new chapter for the event, which has grown from hosting 13,000 people in 2024 to an expected 20,000 attendees in 2025 at the Kenilworth Racecourse. Bravo, from Khayelitsha, is stepping into a leadership role that extends beyond the stage. As one of Cape Town’s most exciting and authentic young artists, he brings not only his music but also his business acumen and cultural insight to help shape a world-class festival experience that still reflects the heart and soul of local communities.

“Coming from ekasi, I’ve seen what it means to celebrate our people and our sound. Now I get to be part of building something bigger: a platform that belongs to us and gives Cape Town the best taste of home while standing tall on a global stage,” says Bravo.

His move from performer to part-owner marks a significant moment not just for the festival but for the entertainment industry in Cape Town. It signals a shift towards artist-led innovation and empowerment, where those who create the culture are also given a seat at the table to shape its future. For Bravo, it’s not just about music it’s about legacy, ownership and inspiring the next generation of creatives from ekasi and beyond.

The Cape Spring Experience 2025 will feature an all-star line-up, including Zonke Dikana, DJ Zinhle, Big Zulu and Lwah Ndlunkulu. With a blend of established icons and fresh talent, the event promises a vibrant celebration of music, culture and unity under the Cape Town skies.

The organisers have hinted at expanded lifestyle offerings, including fashion pop-ups, local food vendors and art installations, turning the festival into a fully immersive cultural experience. With Bravo now on board as both performer and partner, the festival is poised to evolve from a springtime party into a powerful cultural movement.
