House music star and outspoken Kaizer Chiefs supporter Oscar Mbo has added his comments to the drama surrounding coach Nasreddine Nabi's uncertain future at the club.
This comes in the wake of Chiefs’ 3-1 defeat at the hands of Sekhukhune United at FNB Stadium — their first league loss of the season which sparked widespread criticism of Nabi’s tactics and leadership.
Taking to his social media shortly after the match, the Groovy Since 90 Somethin hitmaker didn't hold back, writing: “So embarrassing that this man’s coaching licence expired in 2023.”
The post was later deleted.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Oscar said despite the turmoil, he remains hopeful about the season. “I am a Kaizer Chiefs fan since I was little. Certainly this season will bring back our glory days. I'm optimistic about that,” he said.
With Nabi's position under increasing scrutiny, fans and pundits are waiting to see what the club’s next move will be.
