Mango iced tea

When making tea cocktails the first thing that comes to mind is the famous Long Island iced tea. It was created in the 1970s by bartender Robert Butt aka Rosebud.It was presented over ice in a tall, slender iced tea glass with a twisted lemon peel and a straw

METHOD:

Brew a mango-flavoured tea bag as per usual with hot water and allow tea to cool before combining with other ingredients.

Get your serving glass ready and fill with ice, adding cooled mango tea.

Combine five spirits and lemon juice into your shaker.

Add a splash of sugar syrup (plain) or sweetener to take the edge off the lemon juice.

Shake, strain, add to tea and serve.

Ingredients:

12.5ml vodka

12.5ml gin

12.5ml tequila

12.5ml spiced rum

12.5ml triple sec

25ml lemon juice

1 x mango-flavoured tea bag

Splash of sugar syrup/sweetener
