Over a period of 21 weeks, Sunday Times will be publishing fine-art photographic portraits of 21 local icons, as well as making the short films of the icons available to you that have been broadcast on SABC3

Each week Sunday Times will include a collectible poster of inspiring South Africans such as Nelson Mandela, FW de Klerk, Desmond Tutu, Sophia Williams De Bruyn and Kumi Naidoo to mention a few.

A short film featuring the current icon will be broadcast on SABC3 at 18h57 on Sunday nights, concluding with omnibus on December 16, SA's Day of Reconciliation, also on SABC3.

Already featured: Nelson Mandela, FW de Klerk, Desmond Tutu, Sophia Williams De Bruyn, Kumi Naidoo, Lilian Cingo, Nadine Gordimer, Ahmed Kathrada, George Bizos, Hugh Masekela, Johnny Clegg, Helen Sebidi and Yvonne Chaka Chaka's poster can be found within the covers of Sunday Times this weekend.
