Thinks Volvos are classy and cool

What car do you drive?

A Volvo C70 T5 convertible.

What do you enjoy most about it?

I love that it's sporty and elegant. I can go to serious business meetings and take my wife to an awards show in it.

It's an unconventional car for a hip-hop artist. What do you think it says about you?

That I'm an extremely cool but practical man.

What's the one thing people should look out for when buying a new car?

It should be about practicality. If it's safety you're looking for, or if you're a family man and looking for big space, think about that first and then the price

The Idols prize is a Ford Figo. Would you drive it?

Yes, it looks like it's a safe car.

Do you think you're a good driver?

I'm a terrific driver and a cautious one. I'm a family man with two kids, so I drive carefully.

What irritates you about other drivers?

I don't like selfish drivers. We all use the roads for the same purpose so I think people should learn to be patient.

If money weren't an issue, which car would you buy?

I'm driving the car I want to drive right now.

Which car do you find sexy?

The Volvo XC60. It's a 4x4 that's classy. I especially love it when it's driven by a woman.

What's the hottest car you've seen in a music video?

Any old-school drop-top is great in a music video.

What do you enjoy listening to while driving?

Michael Bublé. His music calms me down and I think it speaks of someone who's focused.

What's the furthest you've driven in your car?

I believe driving long distances damages the car so I prefer flying if I have to go outside Joburg. But I drive to Kimberley every now and then.

What car would you never drive?

Any small car that looks excessively feminine.

Volvo is developing an electric car that uses its whole body as a rechargeable battery. Would you consider driving it once it's on the market?

I think it's a brilliant idea and I'd definitely buy it.
