YOU can expect The Beetle to arrive on our shores in the first half of next year. At launch we'll be receiving the following two variants:

.A 77kW 1.2 TSI six-speed manual in middle-of-the-range design specification.

.An 118kW 1.4 TSI seven-speed DSG and a six-speed manual in design or range-topping Sport specification. The Turbo and TDI models are under consideration for a later stage.

Pricing is expected to start in the region of R250000 and top out at around R300000.
