Today is #NoPantyDay?

Today is International No Panty Day according to certain people on Twitter.

While the event had been added to Wikipedia on Friday according to ABS-CBNnews.com, it has since been removed.

The Philstar reports that the holiday was may be patterned after international No Pants Day, which is celebrated on the first Friday of May.

Here is a video of that event.

The first reference we can find to the event happening on June 22 was from 2012, as reported in the LA Weekly.

As of writing this article, #NoPantyDay is the fourth top trending topic in South Africa on Twitter.
