Shell Eco-marathon challenges student teams around the world to design, build and drive the most energy-efficient cars.

Proudly hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.

After a successful launch in 2014, Shell Eco-marathon comes back to South Africa to see young engineers from across the continent compete in one of the world’s most challenging student innovation competitions!

  The event will be held at the Zwartkops Raceway - free entry

• October 03, from 8h – 17h: Technical Inspection and Practice runs
• October 04, from 8h30 – 16h: Competition runs and Awards Ceremony
