Boerewors Bites

Makes about 12, depending on how generous you are

Ingredients:

1kg boerewors

150g cheddar cheese, sliced

250g rindless streaky bacon

Method:

Cut the boerewors into 5cm pieces and cut a slit into each piece without cutting right through the sausage. Place a slice of cheese into the slit in the boerewors. Wrap each slice of boerewors in bacon and secure with a cocktail stick.

Cook on the braai until the cheese has melted, the boerewors is cooked and the bacon crispy.
