Nissan's NV2000 London taxi should be in service in the city's streets from spring 2013

The company claims the vehicle the new vehicle will offer great improvements in fuel capacity and energy efficiency compared to the current cab fleet. Fuel accounts for about 10% of taxi drivers' costs. Nissan reckons the new cab will save London cabbies around 50% of their annual fuel costs over TX4 drivers.
