Africa meets Italy in this cool fashion collaboration

African fashion brand Kisua is on a winning streak that's stretching all the way to Italy to create cross-continental collections Known for creating unique opportunities for African and international designers to collaborate on capsule collections, Kisua has just launched a fresh collab with Italian contemporary brand 8. We're excited about what the collection looks like and what it means for local fashion. It's a great step in the right direction for cross-continental collaborations, and sees Kisua's mix of African prints and textures mixing seamlessly with simple Italian elegance. It's available on yoox.com, an international e-commerce site that brings together world-renowned designers such as Céline, Isabel Marant and Marni. Kisua for 8 sits on the site quite comfortably under the pop-up shops tab among other collections like adidas by Stella McCartney, and features minimal silhouettes against which graphic prints shine in 14 easy-to-wear pieces. The collection has been designed and made in South Africa using locally sourced fabrics and indigenous crafting techniques, and prices range between R935 and R2 200. Visit Yoox or Kisua for more info and to shop...
