We preview Jimmy Choo’s newest shoes and celebrate the Autumn/Winter 2016 edition of ‘The Edit’ and ‘The Edit Man’ at the Luxe Life in The City Experience The four-day event took place in Sandton City's luxurious Diamond Walk and included a number of fascinating presentations and engagements on the latest trends in beauty and style.Beauty activist Mathahle Stofile's talk, "A short history of black beauty", tackled the subject of beauty and diversity. Anna Weinbeck, regional makeup artist from Bobbi Brown, showed readers how to put together the perfect lipstick arsenal, and Bvlgari and Ellie Saab created the ultimate scent experience. Carlton Hair gave a hair trend update and flower designer Katja Kellhofer Habib showed us the latest styles in floral design.On the fashion front, publisher Aspasia Karras presented the AW16 fashion trends, Cartier hosted an exclusive presentation by Jackie Burger from Salon 58, stylist Louw Kotze demonstrated the latest in menswear with pieces from Ermenegildo Zegna's AW16 collection, while Perrier-Jouët sponsored an informative champagne master class.We also had the opportunity to admire the newest styles in the Jimmy Choo store, and enjoyed a fascinating walkabout through the Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and Louis Vuitton stores. We imbibed bespoke cocktails every day in the Cruz vodka jazz lounge.The 4-day event was book-ended with two parties at the Arque Champagne Crescent bar while DJ Zanele Khumalo and DJ's Lil Big played some fabulous tunes.A special thanks to Diamond Walk for helping us make the Luxe Life in The City Experience memorable...
