Bottle of the Week: Simonsig Garland 2009 How much and where? R1375; www.simonsig.co.zaWhy? The Book of Proverbs gives us a synonym for garland as "beautiful crown", which sums up this eponymous wine. Given that it's made from single-vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, the king of red cultivars, grown at the top of the Simonsberg, the name is most appropriate.
