Trump’s campaign has claimed, without much proof, that it has found evidence of ballots being cast in the names of people who were dead or had moved away, and that its volunteers had been prevented from scrutinizing ballot counting as closely as they wanted.

A video clip of US President Donald Trump referring to Apple CEO Tim Cook as “Tim Apple” during the businessman’s visit to the White House has gone viral.

Trump was speaking at an American Workforce Policy Advisory Board meeting on Wednesday, seated alongside Cook and Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter.

“We appreciate it very much Tim Apple,” Trump said. The CEO simply nodded.

The video, uploaded by Sean O’Kane, a senior correspondent for media network The Verge, now has more than five million views and 40,000 retweets.

Trump has often incorrectly named people and places.

Twitter users couldn’t help but be amused by the US President’s slip-up.
