Nasty C laid his heart bare in his latest single No Big Deal.
After his freestyle on Metro FM went viral with many claims he was dissing A-Reece and Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, Nasty C set the record straight saying he just had things to get off his chest as he usually does with his music.
“No malice over here I promise you ... I had some sh*t to get off my chest. That's all. That's how and why I make albums,” he wrote on Instagram.
The Hell Naw hit maker released an unmastered version of his latest single No Big Deal where he divulges what transpired during his relationship with the two stars.
Here's why he hasn't worked with Ghanaian star Sarkodie:
In the first verse Nasty C explained that after Sarkodie wouldn't shake his hand when they first met he held a grudge and vowed not to work with him and even though the Ghanaian star had sent two requests for a verse on his song he declined them.
“I was just a disappointed fan it's nothing more or less. But now I'm over that sh*t and he's got all my respect. If he asks me for a verse again it'll be my hardest one yet.”
Is Nasty C beefing with A-Reece again?
Over the years it has been said that the two have been beefing over A-Reece showing up late at Nasty C's Ivyson tour and expecting to perform; and how Nasty C released an album on the same day that A-Reece shared a snippet of his next project.
In the song, Nasty C said he was confused as to where their feud stemmed from.
Even after he recorded a song with the rapper, Nasty C says the “beef” was still on but clarified that the feud was between them and not with 25k, Flvme or another artist that associated themselves with A-Reece.
“I tried to squash that sh*t with A-Reece. Hard as it was to put my pride aside, I tried to make peace. It wasn't even no beef ...
“Two weeks later, I'm disrespected and regret it already ... I don't even know why we beefing dawg, but it's up again I'm down to go either way at this point I'll leave it up to him.”
