South African police Commissioner General Bheki Cele has a fondness for women with the surname Ngcobo.
Cele, who has been married before, divorced his first wife Thanda Ngcobo several years ago and has been romantically linked to two other Ngcobos.
He reportedly dated former continuity presenter Zama Ngcobo and had a long-term relationship with Bongiwe Ngcobo.
Cele, 58, is set to tie the knot with his 32-year-old Durban sweetheart Thembeka Ngcobo today.
The wedding it to be attended by the crème de la crème of South African society, including political bigwigs, business people and socialites.
Only invited guests should attend the wedding of South African police Commissioner General Bheki Cele, his family said.
"We appreciate the love and support from everyone. We would have loved to celebrate our special day with all those who are dear to us. We know that you are with us in spirit, thought and prayers," the families of Cele and his wife Thembeka Ngcobo said in a statement.
Cele is expected to marry Ngcobo on Saturday on the south coast of Durban. The statement also said the families will celebrate an intimate walk to life.
"In this long-awaited day, both families have agreed to celebrate and witness their special day privately with family members, close friends and acquaintances."
The Cele's and the Ngcobo's have humbly requested all uninvited guests to respect their request to keep the function a private family affair.
