The family of Kiernan "AKA" Forbes has shared precious moments that reveal how much the late rapper enjoyed making his last project, Mass Country.

On Instagram, they shared a video of the slain rapper dancing to his song, Sponono, which they are promoting.

AKA's team told TshisaLIVE the song is an ode to love, an unashamed expression of love and appreciation by a man in love. The Sotho term sponono refers to the beauty of a black woman, praising it and affirming her.

Supa Mega’s lyrics were dedicated to his partner, Nadia Nakai, and proclaimed that this is real love, it’s ride or die ... perfect combination, suit and tie, angel, halo see you in my dreams in porcelain white.

He goes on to say she was God-sent, his anchor and sense of peace during stormy times. Sponono was produced by 031 CHOPPA, Xivonaki Manzini and Tshupo Khutsoane, who have worked with the likes of Sjava, Costa Titch, Phila Dlozi, Prince Kaybee and JR.
