Swiss tuner Mansory, popular with high-profile pimping, has effectively uglified the BMW's flagship 7 Series sedan in the name of exclusivity.

But then again, you may actually find the new face created by this aerodynamic kit quite attractive.

Mansory has fitted a wilder looking front bumper that's more in line with the hyperdesigns of premium tuners such as G-Power.

It's a bit too brash, too showy in fact, but then again, it's what makes up the core of pimping. Mansory has also integrated LED daytime running lights in a way BMW could never have imagined and has also replaced the usual chrome that BMW prefers to line its kidney grille with carbon fibre effect.

The overall look is admittedly starting to please as I write this, more especially the squarer profile of the front.

The tuners have largely left the flanks free of drama with the massive Mansory 22-inch wheels shod with 265/35R22 performance rubber in front and fatter 295/30R22s for the rear tyres.

The tuning package is available for both the F01 and F02 7-Series models with a corresponding engine upgrade.

Just over the rear windscreen is a protruding roof spoiler, and towards the back-end there's a new apron and diffuser which integrates the four-port exhaust pipes in a most diabolical manner to reflect the booming sports exhaust system .

Mansory offers a performance upgrade kit for both the 750i and the 760Li.

The upgrade on the 750i with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 consists of an ECU remap and sports air filter which is good for a new total output of 360kW and 720Nm of torque over the standard 300kW and 600Nm car, itself no slouch.

If a bigger hammer is in need, Mansory will also set to work on the V12-powered 760Li.

That's 6.0-litres of twin-turbo fury and the tuner says it will dial up the power quotient to 470kW and 920Nm compared to the standard 400kW and 750Nm. The numbers speak for themselves.

The 0 to 100km/h sprint time on the Mansory 760Li takes just 4.2 seconds, shaving 0.4 seconds off the standard model's time.

For the interior Mansory continues the carbon fibre theme with an ergonomically designed sports steering wheel which still provides all the functionality of the standard item.

Mansory also offers finishes in leather or Alcantara with wood or carbon trims.

Personalised options include even the floor mats and any leather touches as per the customer's tastes.
