I usually find Zapiro's cartoons well-thought-out and entertaining, but yesterday's one about the JSC's work is plain racist. What exactly does he mean by "clever blacks"?
The cartoon is uncouth, inappropriate and does not make any meaningful contribution to the debate on race representation in the judiciary. It is a very thinly veiled insult to blacks.
