The Hawks are confident that they will soon catch the "Facebook rapist", wanted for murder, rape, kidnapping, theft and fraud across the country.
An alert has been issued by the police for a man known as Thomas Bester, who allegedly lures young women interested in high-paying modelling, TV presenting, acting and promotional work.
Bester, who is also known as Thabo Magagula, TK, Rufus Mahopo, Kelly Young and Tom Kelly, has continually updated his status on Facebook.
But that is a foolish move, says Hawks spokesman McIntosh Polela.
"A person using social networks is not too hard to find," Polela said yesterday.
He said that the Hawks "will be able [to arrest Bester] soon".
