- The dress sense of Malia, US President Barack Obama's daughter, once again caused an internet storm after an Instagram post of her wearing a T-shirt with the logo of the relatively unknown New York hip-hop collective Pro Era. Although the collective's fans expressed admiration for Malia's musical taste, the rest of the world was left wondering what the fuss was all about. Last year, a Republican spin doctor was forced to resign for calling the attire of Malia and her sister, Natasha, at a White House Thanksgiving ceremony 'classless'.

A Kenyan lawyer plans to offer US president Barack Obama, 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats for Malia’s hand in marriage.

According to Sky News, Felix Kiprono has fallen in love with 16-year-old Malia Obama.

“People might say I am after the family’s money, which is not the case. My love is real,” he said.

“I am currently drafting a letter to Obama asking him to please have Malia accompany him for this trip.”

His interest in the US President’s underage daughter started in 2008 and he claims that he has not dated anyone since, promising to be faithful to her. Kiprono's age is not revealed.

He told The Nairobian newspaper that he and Malia would lead a "simple life" as man and wife.

"I will teach Malia how to milk a cow, cook ugali (maize porridge) and prepare mursik (a traditional sour milk) like any other Kalenjin woman," he said.
